Who now manages Alonso, Webber and Kovalainen?

Wasn't Flavio Braitore acting as manager for Alonso, Webber, Kovalainen and a number of other F1 drivers?

Didn't the FIA say that they would not allow anyone in any way associated with Briatore to be involved in F1.

What has happened here

If they are still managed by Flabio when they reapply for their superlicenses - they will be refused.

Doesn't apply until next season. I presume they'll get new manager, quoting force majeure (sp?) to get out of any contract with Flav if need be.

It will be interesting to see Kimi vs Hami and Alonso v Massa, should make for some good racing next year!

You're of course assuming that Kimi stays in F1 and makes the move back to McLaren....I'm pretty sure that isn't a done deal yet.

I have absolutely no doubt that Bernie will be willing to overlook this minor inconvenience in the case of Alonso since he will be driving for Ferrari - Webber and Kovalainen had better make sure they get him a decent Christmas present though :D

I gotta say that that statement made me laugh. Type_R must really dislike Button to an extent that he would compare Button to Badoer. Surely, thats one of the worst insults that an F1 driver could receive?

Im glad Im not the only one who feels this way about Button

There's also the prospect of watching the progress of world champion-elect Jenson Button - arguably the leader of the second string of drivers behind Hamilton, Alonso and Raikkonen - and rising star Sebastian Vettel in a major fight with F1's heavy hitters, if their Brawn and Red Bull teams can maintain the form that has made them front-runners this season.

EDIT - Apologies Sunama, I just read that exact blog and have linked it in my post - All great minds think alike!

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, unless there is a radical rule change surrounding aerodynamics and the cars as a whole, then I don't think we'll be seeing any 'classic' racing such as the examples mentioned.

Ive been reading a few comments on that blog from Andrew Benson (BBC)... These made me laugh...

Lets just wait and see. Massa on-form will, in my opinion, out drive Alonso. Everyone talks about how good Alonso is. Well next season we will see for sure.

He must have been watching a different Alonso then. He even got a 'For Sure' in there :p

I think Ferrari has made the biggest mistake by taking Alonso. He is not as good as everybody talks, and I hope Massa will show how bad is Alonso

Erm, he is good ;)

I think I saw 3 overtakes other than the first lap in the Singapore race, was a bit boring to be honest.

Was better than both the Spanish races this season.
Atleast we get sparks, flames and cool reflections!

I think with a few tweaks Singapore could be a nice track. They need to tone down the chicanes which make the whole race a single file procession.
