i close my pc
any way is a sli gtx 580 @ 950 mhz ( 1.188 v) and the cpu is 4.4 . I use to enable the sli, nvidia 265.09 drivers.
http://img593.imageshack.us/img593/3277/9000a.jpg you have to copy the nv_disp.inf in the directory, copy and replace, and then you can instal the driver wich will enable sli in 3dmark 11

thats sli without the combined test working I would hazard a guess.....
Not a single 580...not that good.

£800 worth of gpu there...

Yes, very true 8 threaded i7 own the Physics and CPU aspect of the benchmark. BUT if you just look at the GFX score, its much more reliant on the GFX card.

they will push more out of any gfx card by the looks of this benchmark , it favours the intel cpu's more

You should be able to get easily over 10K with 900Mhz clock. CPU is fast enough already.

I think not. Going from 780 to 839 only got me 300+ on score and I'm still 302 away.

I str8 900 might still be a few points shy. Time to bring out the big guns

Generally you get very little improvement in real games when upgrading CPU compared to upgrading graphics card.
