****OFFICIAL****3D Mark 11 Benchmarks Results Thread

From memory my cpu was either 5 gig or 5.2 and the 5970 was overclocked to match the clocks of my stock 5870.

Thanks for the update johny dolan. :) In that case I've quite some distance to go to in order to improve my 3dmark11 score. The XFX 5870 clocks are 850MHz/4800MHz and the highest I've ever clocked the 5970 is 840MHz/4560MHz purely for benching.

I'm currently gently-pushing the CPU/GPU in turn until I get BSOD or heat becomes too much. I'm updating my sig as I overclock on new build (new high score is P7,520 in my sig.) as I now have some room to push the 2600K a bit more. There's no way I'd get to 5.2GHz as that would mean going over the recommended vcore of 1.35 by quite a bit. I'd be quite worried going near 1.4vcore.

6950 unlocked

Nice. I couldn't have a Phenom so close behind me so I overclocked mine a bit last night using a 6970 bios @ 950/1400 to achieve - http://3dmark.com/3dm11/630548 - P9400

I put on the modded 6950 asus bios and o/c to the same clocks to get - http://3dmark.com/3dm11/637359 - P9438.

38 points near as makes no difference, and I have further to play with the clocks in CCC, so I'm sticking with this bios methinks. Who's up for a 1gig core? :D

overclocking the cpu doesnt gain very much in 3dmark11 its not like the old 3dmark06 were you would gain 1000s with the new one you only gain a few 100 so not worth pushing your cpu for.

Im using h20 so have good temps but my normal 24/7 clock is 4.5 i only pushed the cpu for a few benchmarks and it does gain 1000s in 3dmark06 i scores 37k with cpu at 5.2 but for sure not worth it on 3dmark11.

What are the temps under load with having it in Crossfire and overclocked, and what fan speed were you using?

Impressive GPU scores too!
i've set a fan profile, max temp i've seen is 56c~ @ fan speed 48%

anyway i've droped the driver down to 11.1. now i'm getting

This is my first step into crossfire having picked another brand new Sapphire 5850 for £138 (not a bad price considering I bought my first for £207 two years ago). I had to swap the position of the cards to keep good air flow because of the different position of the GPU cooler fans, interestingly temps have dropped 5 degrees compared to single card, weird!
Here are my results, note my new card has not been unlocked yet. I can't believe the results I am getting nearly two years later with the same components. Any idea how much better my results will get if I unlock the new card?
