anyone know why i get a 3dmark 11 GUI has stopped responding issue when i try to run the basic free edition after install ?

A slight more OC 470 > 875/1750/2100 -Previous was P5752 > 850/1700/2000. Slowly catching you up Ravenxxx2 P6264, you'll have to step up a gear lol ;)

.. clearly the GPU side is performing well, CPU throughput lets me down. Given the seemingly small knock on effect this seems to have in the real world, I think I can live with that. :)

Coming from a 4870x2 to this has been a real joy. Acres of grunt with no irritating micro stutter and lengthy driver profile waits.

And tomorrow, 3D Vision arrives! ;)

Gave it another blast, upped the clocks to, 670/1520/1684, voltage at 1.000. Previously at stock, 0.987.

Ran with 70% manual fan speed, (crikey it's loud), btw, whats the max reccomended safe voltage for the 470?
 
In theory the GF100 cores are perfectly fine upto 1.1v, and probably ok upto 1.15, shortened lifespan can be expected at 1.2 and above. Afterburner limits to 1.087 which I think is a sensible max for 24x7 operation on the stock cooler.
 
Cheers Rroff, out of curiosity, what are you needing to put through yours for 800mhz?

EDIT:For gaming i only run at 750mhz on stock volts, therefore auto fan is fine as temps are no higher than stock clocks.
