What were the Cards clocked to?

i have 150 Mhz left on the 5850 i can add :p

know of a way to unlock the 5970 ast 1Ghz??

Im happy to see that the 5870 is working hard! i dont think i can win there as you have many more shaders working then me :(

Yeah thats what it will be. im going to be turning the screws @ the weekend want to hit 47k. the thing is i never know when to stop ;)

I will post my results later with Physx disabled but my CPU score will be poor due to limit speed because of the motherboard. Last time I ran the bench, I only scored 10k!

Your graphics score is a bit low, but your CPU score is very good for a decent CPU @3.7GHz. Concentrate on pushing your GPU clocks/volts if theres enough room left.
 
I can certainly see compared to other peoples benchmarks, how much difference a good CPU makes - even a 920 can easily double my score! Not sure how many of those were using GPU for Physx, but I can only guess is they scored over 30k then some help was used unless stated.

Without PPU - not that it makes my poor CPU score much better ;)

GPU - 21,768
CPU - 10,957
P Score - 17,461 Proof

yeh my 470 GPU score seems lower than some I have seen.

I wouldn't have thought my q6700, now at 4.0ghz can be bottlenecking it though!

Try running it again then with PPU off to see how you get on. And remember that our Kentsfield CPUs are limited by the FSB, and theres only so far you are able to push that, unlike the current breeds of processors that feature no such FSB. You've push your Q6700 past the normal limits so don't be too disheartened because you've got one from a reliable batch. Your CPU score is very good but see if you either push your current GPU or buy another 470 for SLI.

According to this review of 470 2/3-way SLI, the leap is quite big from one 470 to two. In this instance it went from P15,412 to P24,443 which is quite impressive and a respectable score.
 
so according to vantage my CPU is every bit as fast as i7's?!
