This is with my card at stock as rivatuner has stopped recognising my drivers.

I have to say the graphics of the 2 game tests are appalling when you consider the frame rate, especially the first. These should be a showcase of what directX10 is capable of and they look poor.

All the games with directX10 content I have played blow these away graphically, the first one is quite frankly an embarrassment.

I appreciate that they are to test features and Im sure there is lots of funky stuff going on technically but you would have thought in the 2 years time they had to create this they would have made it look visually stunning.

E6600 at 3.4ghz
8gb geil pc 6400 dblack dragon ram
8800 gtx 756MB

about right??

How is your cpu score so high? 4gig+ wolfdales are getting ~8.5k.

The score looks on par for a 3.4gig q6600 though.

“Shame it came too late for Ageia eh?”
What do you mean to late? It came just at the right time. I bet any day now the drivers that enable Ageia on the he GPU come out giving Nvidia cards a fair amount of extra points.
Its good days for Ageia.

Hmm, whats that got to do with that, its now CUDA not Ageia and done on the Nvidia card not a rip of standlone card

Anyhow put that in your pipe and Quote it. :p

You can see my crap scores, as you know a Quad will not gain you anything in games and a 8800GTX/Ultra can game better than a 9800GTX and GX2 in most reviews, but on this new 3DMARK Vantage they get far less scores lol.

“as you know a Quad will not gain you anything in games”
It gains me a lot. Take Supreme commander with the program CoreMaximizer1.03 its far faster than dual core. Sometimes I run two Eve clients at once one on each core, leave 2 more cores for my other programs.

Its still Ageia physics and an Ageia API and I don’t really think it’s a rip off as I befitted from it for the price. It might not be worth it for you but it sure was for me. Cannot wait to see the Ageia scores on the GPU.

1 game using a 3rd party tool, no offical games so far benefit and that game is a doddle to run anyhow.

All good reviews still say a faster Dual over a Quad for gamers.

I dont give a monkeys for Ageia and think its sad you seem to have something set up to warn you when a post is made on 1 of a few topics that triggers you.

Thats unless your simply sitting here waiting to pounce.

You cannot seem to grasp or accept the Dedicated Card is dead, they will not support it for long after the Nvidia cards can do it all (more so next new gen).

This is a thread about Vantage scores BTW so lets get back on topic.

I dont think so mate, they survived just long enough to be bought which was OK but what would have been a success is if they didnt need to be bought and went on to become an essential component in any pc gaming system making the company a significant force to be reckoned with in PC gaming.

“1 game using a 3rd party tool, no offical games so far benefit and that game is a doddle to run anyhow.”
The game benefits without the 3rd party tool and so do others. A doddle to run! Your flat out laying or you never played it. Its massively demanding on the CPU unless you only play the smallest maps with a tiny unit limit. other games support quad as well.

Any games that support Nvidia Ageia should also support the dedicated card as both are the same API. Either way its win, win for me as I have a Geforce GPU. I can play my old Physx games and any new GPU Physx games. I get my hardware physics if the card dies or not. Hardware physics is all I care about.
Let’s try and not make this an Ageia thread. There’s no need to talk anymore about them till the GPU drivers arrive. Going by past history we should move to a new thread before this gets out of hand.

“and think its sad you seem to have something set up to warn you when a post is made on 1 of a few topics that triggers you.”
wow I only post in a few topics that interest me. Instead of posting in threads I have no interest in. How poor of me. Perhaps I should start posting all over like other people.

I have nothing set up. During dinner break once or twice a week I use the search button on PowerVR and other key words that interest me. Sometimes I press new posts and scan for topics I like.

You tallk a lot of Tosh TBH, Alan Wake is going to be the 1st game to fully out the box support Quads.

You trying to say my CPU at 4-4.5GHZ cant handle that game I played demo of ?.

Now get back on Topic and take your preaching elsewhere.
