Airmech is an F2P action RTS game which has a lot of unique features with online being the focus.
You take command of a mech from which you can cart around and command units on the battlefield, you can also directly jump into a battle. If you have ever played it it is basically 21st centry Herzog Zwei. In my opinion this is a great RTS game. So enough talking, take a look at some official videos/screenshots from carbon games:

The game is currently in BETA but you can download the game in the following ways:
* On their website: http://carbongames.com/download.html
* Playing in chrome : https://www.carbongames.com/chrome.html (does not cross play with PC/Steam version)
* Or you can buy the steam version which has a bundle of stuff already unlocked: http://store.steampowered.com/app/216170/
To confirm though, after the beta the game will still be F2P. They sell items in game with microtransactions so if you don't want to you don't have to pay a penny.
A few things to get you started:
* I would recommend playing with a gamepad, I use my xbox controller and it is sweet.
* Sign up for the code from Alienware, this will give you an exclusive pilot and 1000 diamonds (you normally have to pay £ for diamonds).
* Sign in at least once on the chrome version to unlock the chrome flying saucer.
If you like you can also use my referral code (store -> codes):

They are planning on adding Matchmaking also, which personally I think would make this game stellar. They will also be adding a friends list.
Here's a video of a full game vs the AI that I made on my second ever play... There are plenty of things I did wrong, you are able to order your units to move and you can upgrade your mech:
