Yep that's all. The proximity mines are what the predator uses, which you find during the the game.

just had a quick go of it, first impressions, sounds are spot on, graphics not as bad as ive heard, pretty good really, great atmosphere, best played in the dark i think.

Been playing it since 12 im 20 percent through the marine campaign and good god i hate face huggers. Keep an eye out for subtle clues that predators are near by aswell thats all im saying

Not had a go at the full multiplayer yet but single player is spot on

Whilst I enjoyed the alien and predator campaigns I felt they was way too short, both clock in at around 2-3 hours each. Just as you feel you're really getting into the game its over and done with

2-3hrs? Is that on Normal or easy?

Pretty bad, but understandable as they have to accommodate 3 separate species.

...Unless they brought out the separate editions, and charged £10 for them.

I should have emptied my rental list - I got sent Darksiders yesterday. If I'd've deleted the list I would have got AvP. Probably won't see that until March now... Still waiting for MAG and that's been number 1 priority since release.

Read a review of this in Play magazine at lunch, they gave it some glowing comments although apparently the controls when playing as the Alien are a little naff?
