Yeah I was thinking along them lines too, resetting I had to unplug the lead and power up to get BIOS access back.
It could well be something to do with ACPI in bios or even something to do with your PSU dude.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Yes if you have other means to connect to the internet, you could try removing the TP-link.
Man I can't get my killer NIC to work at all. It's not even being detected. I also can't disable the onboard Intel as it doesn't disable. I'll put this to Bindi over at Bit tech and see if he can get it sorted. I even moved everything around but no dice
PITA. I'll probably give it to my lady along with the Soundblaster XFI Fatal1ty FPS (say that when you've had a drink )
I would have thought the intel NIC would produce lower latency than the killer anyway. The killer's are supposed to make gaming while downloading somewhat playable, but under other conditions they add latency?
Hmm, so when you do a file search, are there ny .dmp files on your os hard drive?
Update.
I did find a list after I sourced a couple of apps - excitedly I found an AMD one called Mcat but it seems they stop supporting it a while back as it doesn't recognise the new processor.
The last couple of critical errors were caused by dxgmms1.sys and one before that was dxgkrnl.sys which is pointing to the GPU drivers being the faulty culprit. I plugged back in my other GPU into the PCIe slot and it seems ok. The drivers are the latest beta from the Graphics thread, maybe they don't like Win 8.
This has annoyed me as I thought it was an unstable overclock, but makes sense why I could bench with Cinebench, aida64 and LinX completing them with lowish temps.
My folding probably contributes to the crashes as it also folds using my GPU as well as the CPU so I will disable the GPU folding to test more.
In many ways a good result. Are your GPUs OCed when you fold? If not, then the drivers must be to blame I would guess especially if beta.
TIP
When in the BIOS press F12.
You can then save screen shots to a usb stick.
