Same, once i got to lv2 become impossible to win anything at all so for now just doing drivers battle, get 1k a race saving up for M3 as others have suggested here i guess :D.
 
Best car in the game for its level is definitely the Ferrari Novitec Rosso, unbelievably fast.

I'm on the Venom GT now, was halfway through upgrading the Aero TT but thought whats the point, why not sell now and invest everything in best car in the game. It's frustrating having to grind the Drivers Battles but about to hit level 10 soon.

Anyone tried the Pro League? I've only just unlocked level 3 though.
 
I can't break the 12.03s barrier for half mile and 8.3s for quarter mile races :(

What are the recommended upgrades for Koenigsegg to keep the car below level 9?

I'm going to unlock tuning in a few races.

EDIT: nvm, doing 11.98s and 8.22s with tuning.

Na, I bought a tuning package for my previous car and couldn't be bothered to play with it all so I've not done it for this one.

In terms of the orange squares in the upgrade section, I've got (from left to right) 4, 5, 5, 4, 5, 5. The car shows 1651bhp + 268 N20, 2689lbs and 14831 grip.
Best times so far are: 1/4 mile 8.204 & 1/2 mile 11.908.

I'm just building the money etc before I go to level 9. Got just over £1m in the bank and 653RP. I've started using the betting function to get up to 120RP at a time.

I'm doing 8.21/11.96s now, will try to switch to your upgrades with the current tuning.
 
This game is ******* me off, I'm level 2 and I had a well tuned supra, I sold it to buy an m3 and now I get owned in every race (offline) but my supra couldn't beat the boss 8c.

It's annoying as ****
 
dont know why everyones goes on about the koinensegg, My merchilego batters them every time, down to 8.3seconds.

ahhh i see it cause i havent gone over level 7.

Its a definite bread and butter money winner though. Gets me 6.5k every win, im going to keep it to upgrade the koinensegg.

What have people gone on to after the Koenigsegg, going to be decison time soon.

You must have gotten something mixed up with the upgrades you listed, that clearly doesn't add up to less than 250k and the stats you got there.

My best time is something around 11.95s atm but could get as low as 11.9 in Drivers Battles so there's a little more room for improvement.
 
***DESPERATE POST***

My battery died while I was playing this earlier and when I turn the phone back on my game data is gone!!!!!! I'm back at the start with no car!!

What the hell has gone on here!? I can't be starting again!! I'll cry lol

Anyone know where that might've gone? and how to recover it? (or if I could steal someone's lvl 10 save (if you can extract them...?))

I've just double checked and the upgrades I quoted are all correct. What is it you are doubting?
My main garage screen states Koenigsegg Agera R $2437500 [Level 8] and offers me $1828125 if I want to sell it.

Strange, my car was going over the level 8 limit when I tried using your upgrades plus it wasn't anywhere near your quoted values.

I'm at:

engine level 5
turbo level 5
intake/exhaust level 5
nitro level 4
weight level 5
wheels level 4

Now and get the same stats as you did there although the car is worth $2489500 so a bit more than yours.

There's something mixed up about it for sure, maybe we've got different versions of the game?

Anyway, with a little tuning I'm doing 8.21/11.91s constantly, will fiddle a little more tonight and break the barriers once again. I'm sure the car has a lot of headroom yet as my tuning was really amateur-ish.

I'm a little gutted about not buying Zonda R, though, it seems to do even better in the long run. Might even sell my Koenigsegg at some point and do the side step although having saved over a $1M now with cars worth further $2M I'm thinking that it might be time to get the Venom soon :)

BTW, I win 95% of all 1/2 mile races.
 
Well I got bored this morning and upgraded the N20 which took me to level 9. Oddly though I had no level 9 cars available to buy, only 2 higher level 8's, those being the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport and the Hennessey Venom GT.

Buying the Venom took me back down to level 8 and after a few upgrades I went straight back to level 9.
Can I win any races? Nope :mad:

If you're gonna change cars at this level, build up at least £2m and a lot of RP!

For now I'm gonna have to rely on drivers battle to earn money etc. :(
 
Strangly enough im KnightStalker on there, Got a BMW M3 tuned to max, and geared to run around 9.638 ish - pretty unbeatable providing i hit my shifts perfect, if not then its a .64x, Also got a Zonda tuned to max, not gear tuned, and the Hennessey Venom half tuned at present. All 1/4 times.. cant be bothered with the 1/2 mile runs, get more runs in doing the 1/4 over an hour so more money and rp.
 
Started again Thursday and now have a half kitted out 599, have just been killing the drivers battle, am upto level 7 now and wins have dropped a bit, as im not sure of best ways to drive most of the cars, stupidly addictive game though :D
 
I've had drivers blowing past me after the car has maxed out in the driver battles (the one with identical cars) today! Its almost like they have an extra gear.

Is there some trick involved, or is it a bug, cheat?
 
I've had that a lot too... Bloody frustrating isn't it!!

Makes me wonder why the cars are 'identical' but they are obviously hitting a significantly higher top speed... Probably a bug somewhere in there - I can't immagine there being any way to cheat at this... (though I'm sure someone has found a way!)
