its not the exact same game , its not the exact same company..

you seriously believe a company would buy the game and then release it exactly as it was?
 
If they could make a profit, yes of course. Glad to see its being used, cost a lot to make no doubt and pvp was extremely ambitious for an open world type game
 
So much ****ing ignorance in this thread once again. I do wish those who haven't a clue would **** off.

Filled out my CB application last night. Fingers crossed I get in. Want another shot at this as despite it's flaws, the game is enjoyable, and sounds like these guys are the right people to get it sorted out.
 
Not sure why its dissed but as long as its a bit like gta but online and hopefully pve with side missions and a overall story i think i would be quite happy. Not much of a pvper tho i might try it but as i hope its not fully just pvp as that would kinda put me off with ppl killing me when say i just wana explore the open world of it.
 
Open world? That's stretching it. It has a few maps which can handle up to about 80 people per instance. Or at least that's how it was.
 
fail new post, was meant to edit my first post sorry.

I'll probably try it again as it's going to be free to play, and it is fun in a group for short periods. But then again so is any online multiplayer fps, and those proper fps games do the combat better.

Ignorance? People played it and then made their decision, people that bought it regretted it, those that didnt were thankful. The ONLY good thing about it was the art direction....

its not the exact same game though is it thats where the ignorance is.

another company bought the game and modified it we dont know how good or bad it is yet
 
G1 will not make the same business mistakes that RTW did, RTW were in financial trouble because their model and project management was poor - they spent too much money on staffing, infrastructure and pointless things - they even admitted as much.

APB:Reloaded Beta launches between February 28th - March 4th (Mon-Fri) and is expected to take the same shape as the RTW Beta, by this i mean we will probably be grouped up into beta testing stages (like RTW did sharp shooters, heavy hitters etc) and will be given different beta schedules.

I'll admit im a huge APB fanboy, i absolutely loved the original and had some brilliant moments in the game, and i'm confident it will work this time around and grow to be something really special.

If any of you want to join a clan, my original APB clan have all signed up to beta and will be playing the live launch, we were on Obeya server previously and are all Crims.

1st wave is supposed to start at the end of this week with invites going out tomorrow, Europe is the 2nd wave expected next week.
 
Don't really expect much, I can't see them changing the game that drastically, here's to me hoping they can prove that wrong.

I'm afraid I need to take exceptiopn with this - the art direction was eye bleachingly terrible too :)

It looked like a stroppy emos gcse art project.
