If we bat for two full days though (we could probably get away with significantly less), we still have a day and a session to bowl through them. This early in the test we're not jeopardising our chance of winning as long as we declare at a reasonable time.

The follow on is brilliant if you're a couple of hundred ahead and more than halfway through the test as it's your best chance of winning. This early on there's no need to follow on.
