*****Official ASUS RAMPAGE FORMULA thread*****

Fitted the EK-NB S-Max and the Enzotech CNB-S1L can confirm they both fitted. The Enzotech CNB-S1L sits slightly off center however it sill covers the whole SB. Forgot to get my camera out and take a photo but I will get one tonight when I do the leak tests.

Are you going to fit a fan to the Enzotech?

Are you going to fit a fan to the Enzotech?

I'm not no as I don't see it being worth it, also if I put a fan on it I'm not sure the graphics card would fit under it. I haven't pushed the overclock yet its running 4ghz on standard volts, but from recollection the SB was running around 25-30, mainly due to the airflow in my case.

can anyone help me with this my nb temps are allways around 53c and my sb are 45c.this is with the my 8600 at stock and overclocked to 4ghz.is this normal for this board.the nb and sb voltages are set to auto .would lowering the voltages from what auto sets it to lower the temps.if so what voltage should i use.any help greatly appreceated.cheers ps they reach these temps pretty much as soon as i turn the pc on...

i think i have. the case is an antec 1200 and i hid all the cables.one thing that i have noticed is that the geil evo 1 ram i have covers the air flow from the front fans.could this be it.the cpu is cooled by a turniq tower and its temps are fine.do you think my nb and sb temps are high.

No i don't think they are high. Now if you are going to O/C and you need to put more volts through the NB then maybe this would bring the temp up too much.

just got this board an trying to oc it but in bios it wont let me change fsb frequency anyone else had this problem or know how to sort it cheers ,tried in bios it came with an with the 0308 version

Every time I try to OC this board it does it's reboot thing and then goes to the screen saying overclock failed press F1 to run setup or F2 to set basic values.
Wish someone with the same parts could give me a clue how to

Did you set it to manual from auto? I also noticed you have to type in the value rather than getting a list as what I did with my old MB.

I have almost the same setup as you. I assume your running the latest bios? I'll post my settings for 4.2 prime stable if that would help?

NB: Getting the EK NB block and the same SB block as you and will be installing it on Monday - will post results.

I just thought, I shouldn't need to buy a network card, will I? Should just be able to plug my wireless router into the board and it should work ok?

Am I being blind with regards to the Bios because I cannot see an option for the FSB:RAM multiplier atm my RAM is sitting happy at 435 in CPUz, though it is capable of being a lot quicker.

Just cannot find the bloody option, any help would be great guys.

I have an Antec 900 case, I have a double plugged cable coming from the front, labelled AC'97 and HD Audio, it says in the case manual, that you can only connect one, but where do I connect it too on this mobo?
