And some TF2 tweaks though.....please.

Everything else is fine, it's not even that I love TF2, I just want it to be right.

Hmm having some problems with both the 9.12 and 9.12 hotfix in crossfire. I get to the windows 7 loading screen and the rotating circle will freeze sometimes with an odd blue screen (not the usual bsod) and reboot. 9.11 doesn't do this, nor does using a single card, any ideas?

Hi,
I have an ati hd 5770 every so often when im streaming say off youtube it will crash to a black screen. After pressing Ctrl Alt Del it will slowly go to the w7 screen. Then I can move the cursor to restart. But surxur is really jumpy at that point. Last time it happened I tried going to task manager but didnt help. The screen kept going black and slightly back to task manager, so just turned off computer at main switch.

Any idea of reasons for this problem?
Thanks.

Specs are:
intel core i5 2.66GHz
gigabyte ga-p55-us3l
600W power supply.
4gb ram

I don't know if any of you are using Microsoft Security Essentials, but this was causing my 5770 to crash regularly. Once I uninstalled it and went back to AVG it's been fine. Another thing to try if anyone hasn't already is manually set the PCIE speed in the BIOS to 101mhz, if that doesn't work try setting to 100mhz. Make sure your motherboards have the latest drivers and BIOS installed also. Most people have fixed their problems with a combination of these fixes. Good luck all :)

Ok picked up a couple of 5770 Vapor-X's last week (NOT from OcUk) and only found out this weekend about the Sapphire mix up with the bios and when double checked mine sure enough I had the version with only 720 Shaders instead of 800 :( ... ooh well d/loaded the bios update from Sapphires site, flashed the cards and all was well with both showing 800 shaders :) .... then tonight flashed them again with the Asus bios :D

.... anyways still some tweakin to do once I sober up :p

Does anyone know if a D-Tek FuZion GFX Waterblock will fit on this card?

I've currently got one on my 8800GTS at the min but with a Asus 5770 on the way I need to know if I'm going to have to order a new block aswel to fit it.

I'm not after a full block due to how costly they are so if anyone can recommend me a cheapish alternative that will fit if my D-Tek one won't

Cheers

Finally! Installed new mobo and psu today and SO FAR...all seems well having upped pci-e frequency to 101. Will see how she goes with a vantage run later :D

No it is dosnt work with this motherboard great!!! I spent 200 pound and still dosn't work!!

I'm in the same boat. Thankfully my upgrades were ones I wanted to make anyway, but if I put some new ram in there and it doesn't fix the problem: it's going back.

I did all update for motherboard also updated the BIOS but the smart doctor say (Can not find ASUS Graphic card) and also dosnt swich on the monitor. So actualy the gf and the motherboard apsolutely dosnt see each other!

I have tried both my cards on their own and they are fine, as soon as i enable crossfire the next time i reboot the system hangs on the windows 7 rotating ring and goes to an all light blue screen and reboots. I have uninstalled everest (this seemed to cause the same hang and light blue screen for guy with crossfire 5870's on here) unchecked all uneeded startup processes but it still does it. I can enable crossfire once in windows and disable it before i shut it down but thats not a real solution, any ideas?

not heard of this before, errm, have you tried enabling crossfire, then apply defaults to both cards in overdrive, and the apply defaults in CCC for everything else then apply/ok it then try a reboot
