*** Official Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Thread ***

sup playas, overclockers were kind enough to give me a CS:GO beta from their recent competition. However I cant seem to be able to connect to any games, so I thought id ask in here.
Basically, I click on quick match and every time it fails to connect.
In the console I get this over and over:

My internet connection is fine and works for all other games, forwarded the correct ports for steam to work.
Please help overclockers forum :D

I think that question that should be asked is how a person with 1 post was allowed to enter and win a competition for something that so many dedicated forumites wanted. :/

They advertised it on the steam group and it probably got forwarded. Since the forum is basically here to help highlight the shop I'd say the competition did its job

Make sure steam is running as admin and I went as far as to make all the games under steam were admin also. Windows loves denying permission to do things.
Should not need to manually forward ports, it should be able to set this itself and any program would leave a mark in the log if doing so ?

I was browsing steam and had a popup telling me i have been given a gift of CS:GO (given to a friend already :) ). The thing is i didn't even know i had a GO invite myself, never had an email or message over steam about it. Very strange, but all installed now and happy! :D

same here beta key if you got one will buy it as long as its reasonable :D (message in trust if you have one cheers )
