Hi all

I've made this thread for novice (which i am:D) and people who have used the Cryengine 2 sandbox for trouble shooting and sharing ideas and custom made content as i found the base game quite poor in places and would off much enjoyed an open worls all human eperiance which hopefully i can make with the use off the Cry engine 3 Sandbox but iam having a couple off problems to start with

1. being the terrain textures are really low res and dead blocky

2. where ever i move the camera or when i go game mode i have a huge white circle following me around

can any one help ?

Perhaps this can be made a sticky in near future and experienced users can provide basic information on how to go about using the engine which will be a great help for noobs like us:cool:

you'll need a copy off crysis 2 but in augusti've heard its becoming free to the masses :)

i was trying all day but still not happy with teh result i think i need more practice and there needs to be more objects it seems very limited atm tbh ill wait till up dates and try again :cool:
 
i dont think they have a date yet just heard its august time which is when iam going to pick this back up as i think there will be a lot more support out there
 
I tried but was a very steep learning curve and i didnt know how to make the modles or buildings, could only just make the landscapes but its is a fantastic looking engine.


If you have the time and the effort iam sure you could make something very special on there.
