wow them cod4 screenshots look amazing.....i remember the demo looking good but not that good.....cant quite remember but im guessing we were limited on graphical detail in the demo ?

in those SS ...cod4 looks better than crysis which also looks amazing. i guess its a good time to be a pc gamer right now lol

COD4 demo was limited to NORMAL settings.

Holycow Batman :D, wish the limited box came with a nano suit, i want to look like that in real life :p, those screen shots look just wow, glad i am upgrading in 4 weeks as that game gonna make this old PC tap out lol :D
 
How does that work, you can make any level you want and use it with the demo? Is that just plain scenery or in theory could people create an entire game themselves to play on the demo and distribute.

Im guessing no but old timers may remember the original doom demo was basically setup this way

I'm not even going to contemplate trying Crysis again until I have a 9800GTX, I'm not going to ruin my enjoyment of what could be potentially a really good game running it at below par resolutions and frame rates, all I can say is I bet the graphics card manufactures are loving this game.

You have a rig, that some people would be jealous of, you have an 8800GTX, one of the best cards out at the moment! The beta isnt really a good representation because it wasn't optimised
 
crysis demo sites now waiting for release times to be announced by ea. So WTF was the point of that bs countdown timer??

Im aware it wasn't official,just don't see the point of a site having a timer like they're somehow in the know when clearly theyre as clueless as the rest of us

At best all it did was countdown to release day =|

But yeh, was a bit silly everyone was looking forward to it counting down to like 0 and boom the demos out :S lol
