You don't get a code through Steam, you need to pre-order with certain retailers. There's a list on the DNF site.
 
Lol so people who preorder with steam dont get access to the steam activated/downloaded demo? lol to that. Good job I preordered my hardcopy and will be playing in about 20 minutes.

If its the one the site gives you then it is for steam. Open steam - click games at the top - activate a product - enter code - job done.
 
Demo is 70% downloaded so in the next 30 mins or so I'll be able to say if its awesome or not. Can't wait :D

So it's probably like a gifty voucher thingy I have to enter into Steam? OK!
 
So because I bought borderlands and ALL the DLC way before the GOTY edition that means I don't get early access... GG...

Can you imagine what the mods will be like from the teenage male population our there?
 
Such slow internet here, now sitting at 90% downloaded and it's like watching paint dry :<. Not long now though, hope it really does not have the problems that some people seem to be reporting such as random slow downs and such.

Check the CD key part of borderlands. I've only got the bog standard edition which I bought through steam and it appears on the CDkey part of borderlands. Type that into the DNF webby and they then give you a demo cdkey which you activate on steam
 
I've not had a problem. I thoroughly enjoyed the football stadium part, the mountains part was less spectacular but still quite good.

I like it, glad I pre-ordered as i'll be getting it on release day.

Really odd, when I try to register an account it says, "this account cannot be registered".

So I opened IE and used that and I got the same error but I noticed on the left hand side there was a code for steam, so I entered that into steam and I'm downloading now :)

Now I'm really glad I got BT infinity a few days ago :D Downloading at 4.1 MB/s :D :D
