Eternal Sonata is released on Friday and was curious how many of you have ordered it. I love RPG's and there have not been that many good ones on the 360, but I am still not sure if I am going to get this one. It looks like a beautiful game and has good, not great, reviews but from what I heard that the gameplay is focused more towards kids. Not because the characters and setting has a kid theme but because it a bit too simplified and easy. I will wait to hear what players have to say when it's released.

im tempted by it, but ive got blue dragon sitting around thats waiting to be played and i want the orange box.

think this one will have to wait. apparently its ending sequence is 45mins!!
That's what I love about Jap games, the drama.

It will take something truly epic for me to buy an RPG. I love RPGs but they are so poorly done since the days of VII/VIII. I'm still waiting for a proper Square RPG.
Two Worlds on the PC in my opinion is better than the reviews give it credit for. The voice acting is terrible though, and as far as I know the 360 version is allot buggier than the PC version. If anyone picks this game up do yourself a favour and start on difficult because as you level up it really does get too easy on the normal setting.

I have been checking highstreet store prices for bargains, nope. I will wait for the sales or cheap used versions because I have to budget myself because there are too many good games being released over the next month.

I can't believe I was going to wait before buying this game. I dug through my cupboard and found a whole bundle of old games that I never play so yesterday I traded them at my local game shop. Wow this game is impressive; the story is very well told and the Japanese voice acting is excellent, far better than the American English. I am only on Chapter 2 but so far the story cut scenes are moving and captivating with poignant pauses silences - sort like watching an art house movie. Graphically this is one of the most beautiful games I have ever seen and it just shows you what good art can do. I wish more developers would take this approach.

Even if the combat was rubbish, which it is not, I would still love this game. Eternal Sonata may just turn out to be my sleeper hit for the year. I do not think it will do well compared to the big hyped titles because it is too much of a niche game.
