It's alarming how much quicker xbox pads are compared to wheels, the game doesnt seem to reward smoothness. Vision of the future: drivers in the pits with a gamepad while the cars (with webcams on) go flying round the track.

I don't agree with that, both me and Mr.F were using wheels and were consistently faster than Pad drivers.

I might re-install F1 this week and see what I can do at Turkey, been playing too much iRacing recently, the F1 car there is out of this world compared to F1 2010.

Can't sleep so i've been lapping Istanbul but I can only get as close as 21.9 after 30+ laps.

Still don't feel tired either.

Sparc, I'm curious what your gearing set up is, care to share? This is mine. I've tried extending those by a couple of notches each but find I get closer to my ghost with the gears in the screenshot. But maybe they still need adjusting.

Thanks mate. Heh, very similar eh. Gears 5, 6 and 7 identical.

I'll adjust gears 1 to 4 like yours, see if it helps me. Will try some laps tomorrow.
