Finally announced :)

This is the bit I like...
Now onto new-gen. 2015 will see us release our first title on new-generation platforms. The game will launch earlier in the Formula One season and then go onto receive live digital updates. These updates will deliver 2015 content into the game as the season unfolds, ensuring you’ll be competing against the same drivers and teams you watch week in and week out! The game will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Think I will pick up 2014 since I skipped the last one and always get a good bit of playtime out them.

Ill pick it up when its down to about £5. could have been a great series. Instead they really screwed it up for me. Does the AI still drive into the back of you and cannot over take for love nor money, run crazy times at some tracks stupidly slow at other, not get effected by tire wear or fuel load and as the ability to run at qualifying pace through out the race.

Is it also bugged so its speeds up slows downs depending on your pace. Another thing that killed it for me. Does the game have an depth now and how does the setups work ? My biggest gripe was the terrible motor home menu system.

I won't lie, it may not be hugely different to 2013, but I'll still be getting it. :D

Is it just me, or do they refer to the 2015 season as being like DLC?

It is strange to mention it at all...surely there will be a number of people who will just wait for the 'next gen' F1 2015.

Nope, from the details via twitter and the blog the 2015 game is looking to be a totally new game on New-gen consoles plus PC. No ETA but with them mentioning earlier in the year I would expect it to be before the mid point of the F1 season.

As for this years game I'm looking forward to it as ever :D Always fun to have a new F1 game but I can't see all that much changing in this title. Sochi is looking like it might be a fun track to race around though.

I wonder how much they will charge for early access to 2015. I personally don't like the idea of early access but if it starts to look good then they could tempt me.

I'll get it when it's around a tenner, they have pretty much said the next game will be the next step

This just seems to fill the gap to get some money in so not expecting much else then the new car designs, the Russian GP and hopefully abit better online

Has this actually changed from 2010?

I had 2010, bought 2011..which turned out to be a reskin of the same game. Then I gave up on it :(

2012 completely rewrote the handling system (for the better imo) - after that, it doesn't seem to have changed much. The weather system saw a big improvement too (I can't remember what else changed).

Gonna give this one a miss, bought the last one but really getting 2 months of playtime at the tail end of a season is no fun. Happy sticking with other sims. Not to mention the graphics look really dated now that I've been putting so much more time into pCars

Agreed, the graphics are starting to look real dated. Hopefully the next gen instalment greatly improves them.

I'll probably still get this, but I'm hoping 2015 on next-gen will be a large improvement. There is a good chance it will be, as they are finally re-writing the engine and should be able to take advantage of the extra processing power for the physics, and memory for high-res textures.
