Shocked and disgusted at the shortage of threads about this!

I for one am looking forward to the game as I am a huge Fable fan. Not such a crazy fan of Peter Molyneux... Bit enthusiastic and over hypes what he is actually going to do. But that aside! Can't wait.

Let the discussions begin!

I'm dying to play this! I never got to finish Fable 2 because my Xbox bricked itself and I've only just bought a new one, especially to play this. How sad is that? :D

Not sad at all, they are fun and great games! Entertaining!

I just wish Lionhead would drop the campy design style, the games would be far more enjoyable if it wasn't for the awful tongue in cheek voice overs and the terrible puns.

I'll probably get this, but from the bargain bin just like i did Fable 2

That's kind of the whole point of the game lol, awful British humor???

Come on guys, you know the rules about talking about games that haven't officially been released yet so just hold out for 3 more days.

Sorry, just edited this post. Will post a pic of my game when I get home to prove so I can discuss. Is that ok?

Well, as I explained it, that was the ruling when I was a Don. Some people, like myself as a reviewer, legitimately get games early, and can prove it, just as I did. If proof is provided, I don't see why we can't talk about the game early. Besides, there are several games companies out there who deliver pre-order games a couple of days early. I don't see why it's a problem a couple of days before release really. Yes, if it's a week early, only talk about it if you can provide proof, but a day or two before official release should be fine for everyone, in my humble opinion of course :)

I also have come into a new 'part time' role (don't get paid for it :() as a volunteer for reviewing for a local indie shop.

I will take a picture if needed. Forgot last night as I just jumped straight into game. But yea, it's defo a grey area and I think anything further than a week before release is a little unfair talking about the gameplay, but a week before is not... no one is moaning, if anything. People want to know!

Anyways, I will have my mini review up on my site soon so I will post on here and those that want to read can 'trust' me and ask for link via email.

edit: if anyone is good on website building, let me know! Need a hand (or even someone to write one!) for my reviews as the shop owner won't invest in someone. I have 3 reviews written so far and no way of publishing them.

Sad to see it go this way.

My main gripe is the choice system. I have yet to feel like I am truly free to wonder around...

Maybe too much responsibility for a game? Get's boring and tedious after a while.

I want to give it another shot... But unlike Fable II... I just don't feel inclined to as every time I want to just go off and explore, something else comes up and I can't... It is very annoying feel like I am constantly being nursed through everything.

Roll to dodge has been a 'feature' since the original Fable.

Don't think he was complaining about the dodge, but the face your health regenerates whilst doing so. Unlike F1&2 you would get beat down, sure you could dodge. But you would still have cack all health left.

What happens after the end? Are their quests that are not around during main story? Because I have been doing every fetch and side quest possible on my new playthrough. I deleted my other save, as like everyone else, I had no idea about money. So this playthrough I am doing everything possible to make as much money.

So, if I do everything now, will there be new stuff after the end of the story? Or will it be a case of search and find treasures and stuff?
