*** Official FIFA 12 Thread ***

Loving this game,a real step up from 11,when i leave the game my sound crashes and have to reboot,anyone else had this problem:eek:
 
Still cant get the game to download properly through origin. If i cant get it today going to have to torrent it and rely on that solution, very ironic for me!

If you are not playing at a crazy resolution, then yes.

What is your guys firewall status showing when at the online menu ?

I really don't like the interface, it is so console orientated and in your face. You can't even see what other people have posted when you are typing etc and it took me about 30mins to figure out how to join the club. :rolleyes:

There's a much more technical answer to your post which I'm not qualified to give but I will give this one:

30 fps is playable, 60 fps is smoother and 120 fps for those who can see the difference between it and 60 is smoother yet. To make such a generic statement about 120hz monitors seems rather absurd.

GTO656, my 1GB 5850 can sustain 60 fps at 1920x1080 with max detail so you should be perfectly fine.
 
I just downloaded the demo and i am quite impressed actually. I have not played a Fifa game in a few years.

I am going to put in a preorder from ocuk and i will certainly be looking to get involved in some multiplayer. I am Pighardia on Origin if anyone wants to add me

5850 is better than 5770?

As for fps sure I mean 60fps is good right and 120 is very smooth/flawless?

But 90-120hz is all simialr to the eye?

60 is still very good?

30 on pc can look crappy...console I never notice? Mayeb due to distance i sit?
 
I need to have a bit of a practice with this jockeying business. Still not quite the level of freedom that i would like but tbh with you i do think that PES has kind of lost the plot a bit so i can't imagine the new one being as good as this really.
