The patch is joke in the sense that it should have been part of the release build. Welcomed anyways.
People with crossfire were having nearly double the fps in a fullscreen sized window than what they were getting in proper fullscreen, but ATI released a crossfire profile that fixed it.
Thanks, i will have to check that, plays fine for me "fullscreen" but increasing FPS is always nice.

Maybe thats why Digital Polyphony are taking their time with GT5

GT5 is a joke beyond believe.
They needed to release the game while there was still a few races left in the 2010 F1 season. It would've been silly (from a marketing perspective) for them release the game in late November, say, when the F1 season is over.
