Possible noob question, but....

Will the patch mess up or get messed up by any mods we are using?

Will probs put it back to stock for the patch i think.

I hope not, the mods make the game look superb but I'll be putting it back to stock as well just so nothing gets messed up unintentionally.
 
Arghh :( the game won't run on my machine anymore. It locks up at either the loading screen or in game.

I've changed graphics drivers three times and it's still doing it.

Any ideas?

Mine crashers to desktop a lot. I have to restart it about 3 times then it's ok.
We need this patch now...
 
ive not actually played this for a week or two now but ive never had a single crash, or suffered bugs such as the pit stop bug etc ???

same here tbh, had it from launch and played through quite a few seasons now... I can see how the pit stop bug exists, I've just been really lucky with that none, unlike punctures which I seem to get 10x a race
 
i got my first puncture the other day. In qualifying, i selected start on flying lap, and as the white dots counted down on the screen, i got a puncture before i even had control of the car.... lmao.

My record was selecting a set of tyres in the pits and hearing the puncture sound :D was so retarded I laughed

aparently its been sent to microsoft and sony for testing WTF? this is pc not bloody xbox or ps3 so why do they make us wait until the console versions are ready to patch
 
Has the pit lane issue been fixed? I plan on buying this but only after that is fixed. CM shuld have done this by now, CivV released on the same day has had a massive patch (have not tested it myself yet) to fix some big issues and fallout NV was patched within about 2 days of release on PC (this is how it should be, no sony or microsoft red tape to pass).

Mind you no idea when I will have time to play it with CivV, falloutNV and soon blackops, going to be a busy winter!
 
Yea gotta love punctures, i've had 4 punctures in a 30% race before.. would love to know if they are just purely random or down to how I treat my tyres.
 
Haven't played this much due to punctures had one at the start of a race just after the lights go "pop" instant tire failure I was like WTF? so pit in two laps later I have another, Not played championship mode since :(
 
I have to say...after completing at least 200 laps on various circuits, I have not yet had a single puncture, though I do use the "no damage" feature, so I'm not sure if this is what is protecting my tyres. If I allowed for realistic damage, perhaps my tyres would also get punctured regularly.

Games for Windows Live needs to test it too, which is a tad rubbish, but welcome to the world we live in.

Don't think Civ 5 is GFWL, so they're already 2 weeks ahead of Codies....

Still uses GFWL which is why it has to be certified probably.
