Okay so stumbled onto this site called Fuelly, basically its an online way to track your mpg, average spend per fill etc etc.

it also gives you little sig images to use like so.

or

(although this 2nd one is too big for these forums)

click the image to view details about the car & MPG.

i know some of you already keep spreadsheets etc of fill ups and MPG. i just thought it would be good if we could all start using this online way to keep track of our MPG.

also has a mobile site so you can upload your fill up details just after youve filled at the pumps.

all well and good but mpg, for my car, can vary. 310-320 on a normal tank (41-44 litres to fill) up to 410 and 45-46 litres to fill.

this is my gf's car i just decided to post the MPG.

the website calculates mpg on even partial fills so should still give you some results.

the 1.2 has to be pushed a lot harder than your 172 to go anywhere lol

CBA with having it all online TBH, got my spreadsheet on a piece of paper in the car :p
Highest mpg to date has been 66mpg with uber-eco driving on the motorway (although about an hour of queues so would've been higher :(
Normally 40-50mpg, mixed town/NSL.
