***Official GTX 670 thread***

looks like i'll return my 680 and get the gtx 670 instead:mad:
I'm 100% sure that gtx 680 will be EOL and will be replaced by card which was intended to be the real 680

Helios isn't part of Vortez anymore, and W3BB0 has been doing GPU's for a while now as Helios was only doing Coolers etc, Helios originally did the GPU's.
And he's already done his review.

trying to order...but the page is stuck on "Your card issuer would like to offer you additional online protection":mad:

Is it because you have a really long password and they're just loading it up?

...from 1.44Mb floppy disks

I had that but it still went through, check your outstanding order page.

EDIT -

Mines just been shipped, damn these guys are fast!, and free delv.

WOO HOO!

I guess you won't be changing your order to an MSI then :D

i want to replace my 680 currently on order, for a 670 and save the excess ££ toward another 670 for sli within the short term future,

question being is the scaling good? will i get at least 50% performance increase and what about microstutterr and drivers

(on a benq 20t 120hz)

Your also vortez arent you? When are you getting one for review?

I'm not 'Vortez' lol - I just work for them mate and yes I have reviewed the card but don't like to make a habit of pushing the reviews here as it could be construed as promoting a business (although it is not mine sadly) and therefore present a conflict of interests:). I like to keep both jobs separate, I'm sure you understand.

Being as you asked though, here is my take on the GTX670:

Any chance of adding OcUK as where to buy m8, we've got cards in stock from £319.99 Inc. VAT and we've also got the best range online and in stock too. :)

Where from, Nigeria?

:D

bloody hope not! :p

All done cheers. :D

Went for GTX 670 Windforce 3X. Will be my first time using Nvidia after using AMD for many years. It better be worth it.

I got back into M FSX again and Nvidia are meant to be so much better for FSX, so we will see.

Not interested in overclocking, don't care about appearance really, just want it to work and be generally awesome in its own right.

So should i stick to a reference? Palit / kfa2 / gainward for a nice cheap price?

Or other than overclocking is there a reason i should branch out for the more expensive 3x or jetstream?

The Windforce will overclock better and be quieter than reference (according to Gibbo).

And I can verify the performance of the Windforce as being excellent from the experiences with my own card.

Two good reasons right off the bat (for me anyhow) to not buy the ref. card.
