***Official GTX 670 thread***

301.34 downloading now :D

I have to say at idle the windforce is near silent, I can even hear a hard drive spinning up over it.

anyone tried adjusting their volts?

Also, any recommendations for a new psu to go with a 670
my silencer 750w is causing the 670 to whine :D

Great score and nice overclock.

I presume you're not using lucid virtu MVP. Can I ask what your case and airflow is like? How are you finding the reference cooler? How loud is it?
Hi, i don't have lucid installed as i keep hearing it gives more issues than its worth.

My case is an OLD Lian-Li PC60 as my matx case would not hold my Corsair H80 cpu cooler :(

motherboard is an Asus Z77 ROG Gene V

front fan on my case is an old 120mm fan i had in pull config which forces air back into my H80 which is on both 120mm stock corsair fans. <---|<---

as for noise cant hear it over my H80, upto 70% i cant hear it. 80% its audible but fan profile only hits 80% if core goes over 65c which does not happen so most of the time it sits between 50-60% and 50-58c in games like Bf3 all settings maxed out.

Out of the box boost of 1189mhz on my Windforce :)

Surely breaking 1200 isn't going to be much bother :p

Asic quality 100.00%.

I think I've hit my windforce's wall in terms of core clock. It won't go beyond 1350 stable in unigine.

Settings:
Core 1350 (+159), Memory 7114 (+552)

I can get much higher memory clocks than this (almost 7300) but the core clock isn't stable on unigine but is in 3dmark 11. So the above config is a sort of happy medium. Still a bit baffled as to what is holding it back beyond this as temps will just not go above 54C whatever I do.

What Power % are you all getting while running unigine?

mine just hovers around 66-70 %. Is this related to the power target?

Still a very good oc tbh, whats your Asic quality?

Kamz

Screens incoming, benches to a similar speed to alex's windforce, had it at 1364/7112 but the driver crashed around the half way mark in heaven. Temps haven't gone over 60c yet, not bad for a 800D.

Asic quality is 100%.

Power usage is around 85%, but it shot to 233% at the moment of driver crash?

Nice Pgi, well done! 1364 is very impressive.

I don't think you have control over that. Mine maxes at 75% or so. It has been getting higher, the higher the overclock.

Snap, peak usage is probably around the 87% mark.

nice score, just a couple of fps lower than my stock 570 sli

That is impressive, its beating 6950 CF at stock, creeping close to 6950 CF with an overclock too :)

Around 1350 is the most I can get on the core, even with the memory at stock I still get a driver crash towards the end of heaven. I think the memory can be pushed a little more though.

lol that sux.

maybe your stock power usage determines how far you can overclock
mine is about 68ish % and all i can get is 1266 (+102) without having crashes while running unigine scene loop

what do you get on heaven with the same settings @ 1680x1050? My max overclock with 570's is 110fps. Stock is 94.
