Impressed with the Vortez review. They got a sweet 1280MHz core clock too.

Their memory overclock is not good though. Techpowerup pretty much reached 2000mhz on all their gtx 770 cards, memory oc is vital to performance on this card, the same way it was on the 680.

So basically the GTX 770 is a match for the 7970 Ghz, while the 7970 Ghz is a little cheaper and comes with a bunch of free triple A title games.

well actually the 770 is the 680 "ghz edition"

but I still think the 3Gb and 384bits makes a difference for multi-monitor setups like mine.

I wanted an EVGA blower style cooler on an 770, as the reference ones seem to have been thrown out the window this leaves with the below option, all I can say is whoever designed this embarrassment needs a good talking to.

Probably the most lazy looking cooler ever. Reminds me a bit of the classified 580 though, but much much worse.

Was sort of hoping that OC performance of the 770 would reach/surpass the 780 but I guess the GPU is so highly strung as it is that certainly in the Anandtech review, OC performance is disappointing (doesn't even reach stock 780 levels).
