Official GTX770 review thread

So basically the GTX 770 is a match for the 7970 Ghz, while the 7970 Ghz is a little cheaper and comes with a bunch of free triple A title games.

well actually the 770 is the 680 "ghz edition" :D

but I still think the 3Gb and 384bits makes a difference for multi-monitor setups like mine.
 
I wanted an EVGA blower style cooler on an 770, as the reference ones seem to have been thrown out the window this leaves with the below option, all I can say is whoever designed this embarrassment needs a good talking to.

I quite like that cooler :)

Much prefer it to all the ridiculous looking things that look like they are about to take off :p
 
Was sort of hoping that OC performance of the 770 would reach/surpass the 780 but I guess the GPU is so highly strung as it is that certainly in the Anandtech review, OC performance is disappointing (doesn't even reach stock 780 levels).
