ACGs review is great, the game looks stunning compared to other recent videos. Did they change something?

He said in the castle you can get easily lost even with tracking on, must be huge!

The world and gameplay looks fun.

Looks like a purchase for me.

What are people getting this on PS5 or Xbox?

Have both consoles but went for Xbox as my brother half’s in for games so it works out cheaper (doing the set each other accounts as your home Xbox trick). Can also set the location to New Zealand and play it just now if you have the digital deluxe version.

Played a couple of hours and just picked wand out. So far so good, don't want to spoil anything but if you are a HP fan you're in for a treat as the visuals are absolutely epic tied with the music.

Have you tested out the video modes, what have you settled on, performance/resolution?

I think there is a few to choose from.

Just have it in fidelity mode at moment, although TV is displaying it as 2160p 120hz. 1080p modes on 55" look a bit meh, but wanted to just play the game so haven't tested them all.

I played for about 3.5 hours last night - enough time to explore Hogwarts a bit and complete the first day. It’s rather good but lip sync issues are a bit annoying.

I stayed up until about 1.30 am ... just enough time to create a character, do the prologue and get selected for Ravenclaw House by the Sorting hat. Have the whole day off today to explore further. First impressions are very favourable ; graphics and audio are excellent and replicate the atmosphere/vibe of the Harry Potter world superbly. Some issues with pop-in / LOD but nothing too major. Controls and combat feel fluid, with nice haptic feedback. I've settled on "balanced mode" which is 40fps/4K dynamic scaling - felt a bit more fluid than "fidelity mode" with minimal graphical downgrade.

I’m hoping to get a break from my damn Anxiety and have a go with this later. Been looking forward to it for a long time and just my luck I’m unwell when it comes out.

It does look very good and ACG likes it too.

Do you not find gaming helps because it helps you focus on something else?
I think that's why I still game despite the fact I don't enjoy it anywhere near as much as I used to.

Sometimes but when it’s bad I struggle to do anything for more than half hour or so.

I did manage an hour earlier and really enjoyed what I have seen so far.
