Its fine for now. The max temp is 105C and Im only just hitting 90C at 4.5Ghz usually have about 75C on my 4.3Ghz I just wanted to see if I could get 4.5Ghz stable. Plus the stress test temps will never really be hit realistically.
I don't think so, the max temp will not be 105c
Well it's definately over 90C. Max temp for sandy was 100C was it not?
I wonder if I can boot up at 4.6Ghz on 1.25V...
what a difference a bios update makes, updated my V Gene (was on a pre-release bios ... wasn't even production bios lol - that old) - and running the 3770k on lower volts
4.5 seems ok in Prime with mem at 2200 - quite pleased so far - its probably as hot as expected - but very very fast - and very low power usage
When i say broken i mean they are all the same, levels 2 through 5 dont provide varying degress of vdroop they behave the same.
Now i would be happy to be proved wrong and ASrock have actually bothered to fix this LLC issue, but they probably haven't.
.
4500 seems to be the overclock for my 3770k for now
we're not talking cool - but this is after quite a few runs of small AVX prime

My 3770k is currently at 1.25V just checking how stable it is at 4.5Ghz with this voltage (Im hoping I can lower the volts a bit since some people get 4.5Ghz at about 1.8v but I needed at least 1.2v to get to windows) my temps are sitting at 90 for cores 2 3 and 4 for max and just under 80 for core 1. (taking it core 1 is the more realistic temp with my heatsink being seated badly) hoping this is stable and isn't the kind of temps I can expect after a reseat.
