can we filter the review list to those only using retail chips please ?

I don't care how good ES chips are as you can't buy them

I would , but some reviews arent 100% clear if its ES or not.

I wonder if it will turn round and Sandy has a premium over Ivy?

Well when Sandy production is slowed down and certain chips become EOL, then the remaining stock in the distribution network will rise in price, always happens.

the i5 getting hyper threading in Ivy is a big deal is it not - another reason not to get the i7 and also makes it a bit better than the SB 2500k.

i5 = 4cores/4threads

i7 = 4cores/8threads.

Intel says HD2500 for them two.

The list of boards is here - http://event.asus.com/2011/mb/PCIe3_Ready/ - yours supported it from BIOS version 2001.

BIOS 3207 enhanced support to include the E1 steppings.

Theres no way a Sandybridge-E will fit, its a completely different socket type.
