With Chelsea having their transfer embargo lifted and a number of other teams having disruption due to the African Cup of Nations in January, what can we expect in the upcoming transfer window.

Keep all rumours, speculation and sightings in this thread

Aye, possibly but as history has shown with other clubs, money may buy them success but it certainly won't by them class or the history and heritage they so desperately crave.

Rumours have persisted that Robhiniho wants out and siddy are just waiting for Barca to agree terms for the deal to go through.

I think this window will be interesting in that it's a world cup year. Bar Chelsea and Siddy none of the top managers will want to pay over inflated prices in the summer.

If Atletico bomb out of Europe, will Aguero be on his way to Chelsea and will Utd go back in for Silva and Villa

I saw in the paper (my grandad reads the times) that United / Chelsea / City are in for Di Maria "the 20 million rated youngster" :/

I got to admit my ignorance of him up until I saw him tear Everton a new one in the Europa League in the away game. Reminded me a lot of how (Portugese) Ronaldo played against us for Sporting Lisbon before we signed him.

I think that we need to look at central midfield as something is not clicking for us at the moment. Anderson and Fletcher are all very industrious in there own right, then you add Hargreaves into the mix. We are lacking some creativity to dictate the pace of our game at the moment. Whether that comes from DeMaria or another player remains to be seen.

Interesting story relating to Ezequiel Garay. It's a player that I know Fergie monitored a few years back but Madrid stumped up the cash 1st. I think there are some long term questions over Rio's fitness so this maybe one story that isn't too wide of the mark from the Mirror. What a refreshing change :p

No a better keeper would have made us probably 5 points better off than we are now though after Fosters blunders.

But from those mistakes you would expect him to learn. 5 Points sacrificed now could mean 8 points gained in another season.
