Sorry to put a downer on this thread............

The game is great and all that but I have attempted to play online a couple of times and I joined a game then it froze for a second and went back to a loading screen which it then gets stuck on meaning I had to force quit the game!?

Hopefully I was just unlucky to have joined a couple of bad games but ahs anyone else had issues joining games?
 
I had that issue with the first game eventually just seemed to stop doing it was on first couple days of launch it did it however. Got mine yesterday thou im not playing it till my friend comes down as we will play it in co-op as its allot more fun + amusing if your sackboy dies in silly ways or you do a silly error hehe
 
Can anyone post if they find the game for less than the RRP?
Everywhere seems to want £39 for the game.
Don't get me wrong, it's going to be a good game but over the past couple of years I've been stung when a game drops in price by a considerable amount only a week or so after release.
I simply don't do games on release day any more.

Cheapest your going to find the game for is around £37 at the moment, have a look on shopto.net.

Its not going to drop in price just yet, its only just come out, give it a month and it will drop.....LBP went down to about £25 on play.com after 4 weeks of release.
 
Went and got my copy this morning, it's just more of the same really. Dont like the grapple gun at all (although I already knew that having played the demo)

Think it's more fun in multiplayer/online than it is as a single experience

I wish I liked it! When the first one came out there was some other game exclusive for the xbox released at the same time and I hated the PS3 as I just got LBP!
 
Anyone know if it's possible to import your own images and audio into the level creator this time round? I could think of so many things to create if this was possible ;p
 
Finished first two sets of single player levels liked it, Enjoying it more than the first, Played it with my friend so was more amusing especially when throwing the cakes :P
 
Im enjoying the campaign but as im rooked I got it on rental dont think it will be a purchase unless I get some decent prices for old trade ins.
 
pre-ordered this and was expecting it friday or atleast saturday but its not turned up, i feel quite guilty not just going out to buy it on the day as my little girl has been waiting for this to arrive!
 
Almost finished the single player (no doubt others have already beaten me to it) some what of a disappointment how heavy the reliance on the create mode is this time around with a half hearted SP experience :(

Hopefully trying to Ace all the levels will add some kind of long term re-playability...
 
so loaded this up and done a couple of levels (single player) and the movement into and out of the screen is as bad as ever for me with the actual game feeling more a dlc pack than a follow up.

oh well.....
 
Completed it earlier tonight, nice variation in the SP levels when compared with the original but still far too short and again far too much emphasis on the creative side of the game

I had a BAD experience with LBP when that was released! I pre-ordered it from play.com and booked the Friday off work to play it...the game didnt turn up so I waited a few days before I contacted Play who told me I have to wait 30 days!!!!!!!. I was fuming but I had no choice then I filled in a form and they sent me the game out again.
I received the game over a month after its release date and the worse thing was that play had taken the game down to around £25 before I had even received the copy I paid full price for!....needless to say I have never pre-ordered from them again :(
