It's been no secret that Capcom has been developing Xbox 360 title Lost Planet for the PC. Word has been circulating about the project since GDC. But now, it's official. Japanese site Game Watch Impress reports that Capcom and NVIDIA have announced their PC tie-up version of Lost Planet. The PC version is DirectX 10 and has a resolution that runs up to 2,560×1,600 dots. While Game Impress Watch is uncertain whether the game will hit Japan, Lost Planet for the PC will be out this June in North America and Europe. The price is undecided.

Anyone willing to place bets on when Dead Rising hits PCs? Anyone?

This seems like great news! LP has interested me a lot when I saw it, and now its coming, although when it says it is DX10, does it mean DX10 only? Capcom seem quite determined now to bring their games to the PC, so I am quite sure dead rising will come. Also, I heard that they are developed by a better company than the ones who made DMC3 and RE4 ports

It will be full of bugs and work like crap on Nvidia cards wont it seen as its ognna be a port from the Xbox 360 :\

The online part is where it shines, it's a lot more fun than single player that's for sure. If i didn't have it on my 360 already i'd purchase it for the pc.

I thought this game looked pretty good when i saw the initial reviews. Will wait to see what the reviewers have to say on the PC version, but i am happy to see it coming over to the PC.

Never played it online, but the SP on the 360 was "average" in my opinion. Nothing startling and it could be seriously frustrating at some points.

Wont be buying it again on the PC.

Its not gonna sell well is it as DX10 only=Vista and I doubt gaming on Vista will be any better in the 2 months or so we have left until it is released.

At best it will run ok on high end hardware unless Capcom have managed to optimise their PC code (unlikely TBH as no-one else seems able to in a short space of time).

The game is fun on the X360 but who is gonna upgrade their PC when they already have an X360 version of the same game.

To be fair it doesn't say it's DX10 only just that it will support DX10

It was a good game, a little different to the norm, with nice graphics and some great bits. However, it was a 7/10 in my view. Even if the online was great, it wasn't enough to save it from being average overall. Too many dull annoying bits.

If the port is really good, it might be worth buying, but if it falters even slightly, then it will be very average.
