Official Memory Cards vs Unofficial

What are people experiences with non-official memory cards, in particular for the cube? I've had 4gamers 8mb and it currupted within a month of me getting it (very annoying!) and no matter what I try I can't get it too work again! Where as my official Nintendo card has worked perfectly for 3 years! Have I just had an unlucky bad experience or do you really get what you pay for?

I had some problems with unofficial memory cards on the playstation, just get the official ones these days. I've never had a problem with my nintendo card for my gc.

never had a problem...then again it stays there perm no transferring or crap

I've never bought a unofficial one since I lost my FF7 save game on a cheapy memory card

Never had a prob here with em. Only card that ever has given me grief was an official sony one for ps2.

Had many unoffical cards before for the ps1, and they became corrupted and needed reformatting, never had a problem with an offical one that Ive had for 4 years.

Never buy unofficial! All my 3rd party memory cards (especially on the GC) have crapped out on me.

I have a 128MB unofficial card for my cube and it causes games to sometimes lock up when loading from it particularly bad is NFS:WM. Super mario cart is a bit of a pain with it as well.

I have a 64mb one for cube and its perfect had it for over a year now and its been very good to me.

i find that if they arent ognna work they tend to crap out after a week or so.
