Really wasn't keen on it sadly, physics seemed arcadey that would then for 1 second as you're driving shout "THIS IS A SIM!" and throw you off the track for no reason, not really what I had hoped for, they have to stop trying to cross the sim & arcade lines into one style, it doesn't work :(

Was kinda relieved when the game crashed! Never a good sign!
 

this guy (very well known game racer) reckons the console versions dont feel right. He also very much disliked the PS3 version but he says the PC version is like night and day. I wonder what has happend?

I got it on PC and i must admit that furst race with the GTR was one of the worst experinces ever. After half an hour of messing about i got some good settings eventualy and it does get better,
 
It's a shame really if this game had comparable handling to Forza it would be the ultimate racer imo, but with Dan doing one of his typically churlish launch spoiler commentarys "Forza Motorsport 4 Won't Make People Vomit". It's not going to happen anytime soon. I might not feel sick, but I do feel very bored at times lapping in Forza especially so in cockpit view.
 
I really hope they have changed the handling from the first, but it doesn't sound like it.

It absolutely ruined the first game IMO, and no about of tweaking made it enjoyable.
 
I'll give it a bash when it drops to the sub £20 mark, I enjoyed the first once i'd found some settings I liked, which you had to do because if you used it as it came it was an awful experience.
 
Still reckon i will get this but only cos i will be able to trade hot pursuit for this and only pay £5 , went to get it earlier and they said the offer doesnt start till tomorrow :p .

tesco's m8 and a few people on another forum said they have got the game today with the trade-in but my local one said from midnight :confused:no sweat can wait till tomorrow .

Got mine this morning so will have a go and with the trade-in offer i wont be too bothered if its not great anyway will go have a play :) .
 
I brought hot pursuit for £15 to get this for fiver I haven't had the chance to fire it up yet I was hoping this game would be good. Has anyone actually tried this with a steering wheel?
 
Right faff getting it in tesco, the offer wouldn't Work, all the tech section were off doing other stuff, in the end the had to find the trade in price for hotpursuit, which was £18 something, add £4.96 and reduce the price of shift 2, so 20mins later I paid £4.96 and was on my way.

I played Hot Pursuit for a total of 3hours lol. Hopefully this willbe better.
 
My copy went back today. Had a great time with the sales assistant in game. When I told them I was returning it because it was a load of crap and not worth £5 let alone £35 they looked at me funny and just did the refund no questions or arguments...

I saw it in the London Metro paper.


I never had any problems getting shift 2 the staffed seemed to know, I've had problems with them in the past though.
