Seems they aren't very stable, think I'll just stick with my trustee old 84.56 release ....
 
Why does the Nvidia thing keep appearing in my tray even though I keep turning it off in the tools option? bloody thing and a balloon about SLI, yes I know I dont have SLI stop telling me!!! :mad: Had to change my windows theme back to default as the menus in the new control panel were all black, changed it back to classic mode now, will test for any gains now :)

Can't believe that's still not fixed. Will stick with the 8s I think.

I remember that from the betas, it's annoying as hell! :D
 
Updated motherboard chipset drivers also nForce 430/410
edit hmm just installed those two, Media Centre front end takes a lot longer to load up now (OS boot up ok, just the fancy graphical interface takes a while to pop up)

Just went to these from the 84.25's and saw a very small increase in the benchmarks.........maybe 200 points in 3DMark03 and 100ish in 3DMark05. Spec in sig.

That stupid balloon tip thingy is quite annoying, as is the fact you can't seem to turn off the bloomin' task bar icon. Still, can't be bothered to uninstall and re-install the old ones now...
 
I went for these earlier for my 7600 GT's.

Turned SLI on and screen went blank, I bashed the enter key, pc restarted, came back on to some obscene resolution and then froze. Went back to the older drivers for now.
