I tried some 3DMark11 benching last night and found that increasing the memory between 2150 - 2200 actually yielded a lower result by a few hundred marks, what's that about?

GDDR5 auto detects and reprocesses errors. If you overclock your memory too high, too many additional cycles are required to correct errors and performance goes down. It is designed to prevent crashes.
 
Can you all run the Heaven Bench 2.5 please at 1080p cheers
