*Got suspended for hotlinking, I don't know what counts as hotlinking, I uploaded that pic and put spoiler in case, if someone could clarify if pics are allowed would be cool, got the suspension but no explanation so I don't know how I meant to link to pics?*

fastest memory ever? sounds like a nvidia claim eheh :)
was all the talk of 770 being a revamped 680 true?
and if so whats the 760 based on then?

The scale on those graphs... 0-100% represent 2 rows, 100-200% represent 4 rows.

EDIT: My bad they start at 50% but that still looks skewed.

So look at the last spoiler, its about 10% faster than the 7970 and gtx 680.

I wonder what these will be priced at now... Cos with an overclock that 10% can be easily gained.

since it's a rebranded 680 i'm guessing it would be 680 price with a small price cut (same card + time = depreciation, especially since the 680s have hardly gone down in price).

Weee...official factory overclocked GTX680 that comes over 1 year too late :p

Was expecting it to be at GTX670 price range, but most probably not considering Gibbo already said it's gonna be GTX680 pricing...

Lol, Maxwell is going to come as soon as AMD drop Volcanic Islands. Almost feel sorry for those that rush out and buy 7XX rebranded or overpriced cards..

The 770 seems to cost more then a 680 and perform about 9% faster then a 7970.. Really not worth it..

Roll on Volcanic Islands and Maxwell..

nvidia still havent dropped prices on gtx680/670 yet so cant see it coming in cheaper than £450 right now.

They need to drop the 670 to £250, gtx680 to £300 & put this in at £350 TOPS.

Hotlinking is directly linking to images on other sites that are not expressly for that purpose.

It means that you're using their bandwidth, which they might not appreciate, and you have no control over the image.

If the image was changed at the hotlinked site from something innocuous to something naughty then the naughty image would appear on the forum.

The images you've posted you've uploaded to an image hosting site so they're fine to use.

Ah thanks for that, I understand what it is now. So as long as the images are linked to a user uploads and not a website it's ok to show images..

Cheers.

Can anyone explain how exactly they can go about over clocking a card that dynamically over clocks itself anyway :S I just don't get it.

I.E if the GTX770 is clocked 100MHz higher than the GTX680 that's great on paper, but if both cards over clock themselves to say 1.2GHz its a mute point...

Obviously a reference 770 will be able to clock itself higher than a reference 680 due to the Titan cooler, but 3rd party 680's have improved coolers too, the Winndforce 680 is clocked 150MHz higher than a stock 680.

Higher base clock and more freehanded with voltage limit for higher self turbo clocks and more finely tuned clock for a particular voltage profile.

All about price with this. £300 will be a real bargain buy. Under £350 and it will be a good buy. £350-£400 would be a bit meh and a bit of a pointless release. Over £400 and it is utterly pointless.

I have a feeling that the GTX 770 is going to be quite a bit more than people are expecting, with that metal cooler, a 10% performance boost over the 680 and a new name. I think NVidia will just be too greedy and whack up the price a bit.
