Jewellers can sometimes help but when you have such a good clocker its not worth swapping the old one back in. For air i wouldnt go above 1.45-1.475v for dual core. I couldnt hit 2.9ghz stable on my chip when back on air and i tried high volts. As soon as got the temps down and went onto water i am now running 24/7 at 3.1ghz at 1.536v. Tried to see if 3.2 within reach as most people were saying 1.65v would be safe for 24/7 use but even with those volts i could only achieve 3.15ghz so didnt think 50mhz was worth 0.15v increase. 26s 1mb time isnt bad though for 24/7 use.

Just finished prime testing on mine..

So far I've only got 2.5 out of it @ 1.375v.. max temp was around 51-53c
Not too sure how to push any higher.. I've tried 2.6 @ 1.45v (max was 56c) and it fails.. and 2.7 @ 1.5v (max was around 59c) and it fails..

Having heard that 1.45v is the absoloute max for these chips I'm slightly hesitant to go any further..

Anyways.. screenie...

Any tips?

Temps are the problem there. Volts are fine though. 1.5 is max for air on x2. I couldnt get my x2 past 2.95ghz on good air. Over to good water and stable at 3.1ghz

Anyone got any idea what the clocksare like with these?
Runnin a DFI SLI-D and 512 of Geil Ultra..

I had 3 of these and 2.7-2.8 was the max on these on water.

yup, keep the load temps under 40c and you will find your max clock increase drastically! I cant keep mine stable above 3ghz if the temp goes above 40c. good cooling (non air), and the removal of the ihs will help drop the temps dramatically. I was going to rip the lid off my x2 but found a decent watercooling set-up can manage temps no problem. might be able to push the chip a little more when I finally decide to remove the ihs.
