No you can't make them at the moment, but maybe in a future update it will be added.

not tricky just hard to think of idea's try sketching it out on paper first or draw it out on paint like in my thread

How do you form maps into a "collection", can't for the life of me see an option anywhere.

Edit: finally found it, there's a button on the right side when you view the main community page for maps on the website. Strange that there's nothing in game or on your own workshop page!
