I opted for the Phanteks Enthoo Pro with 1x140mm fan pulling in from front, 1x140mm exhausting from rear and 1x140mm exhausting from top.

Got smart fan control on CPU but not system fans in bios, not played too much yet as theres a lot more to play with than I've seen before.

Give us some more info, symptoms and how you're testing, voltages and temperatures etc. and sure someone can help...
Thanks Ste,

Managed to OC the CPU to 3.8Ghz @ 1.37 volt, with DDR4 running at 2933Mhz. I changed the speed to 3200Mhz with 18/18/18/38 timings with geardown disabled and 1.45 volts- no post error OC loop.

Have spent the best part of the last week running the last 5 bios's on my CH6 and decided that 1401 was the only bios so far to show consistency from one cold boot to the next. For me it is now the bios i'm sticking with until the Asus bios mess is sorted out properly. The clock and ram speed in the pic below boots fine 100% of the time from one cold boot to the next. As you can see, 4x8gb modules so not the best start point on Ryzen................but 1401 is the only bios that works 100% with my set up.

Its nice to see people actually doing correct testing instead of 1hr realbench or a few runs of cinebench. 3.8 is the most a lot of the 1700's can hit if you take "soft tests" out of the question.
You may be able to get away with a lower voltage though.
Totally agree with 1401 bios, 1403 is sketchy as hell.

Vcore is actually set to 1.36v in the bios and droops to 1.33v under full load. As you know, the the sensor readings on this mobo are all over the shop and should be taken with a large spoon of salt. Reading off the voltage points though do match the set voltages, except the ram voltage which overshoots by .02v.

Yep, 8hrs off OCCT Linpac with AVX is more than enough to call it stable. Because it uses 90% of the ram, i'm more than happy to call the ram stable as well.

Ran both prime and OCCT for over an hour independently. No lock ups, black outs or crashes whatsoever. Temp under full load was hitting 85C though on stock cooler @ 3.8G, one thing I noticed though was that because I only have cpu fan on smart control in bios the case fans don't increase. They never went above 800rpm... would using a decent profile with them lower temps?

Memory holding solid with the XMP2 profile which sticks it to just under 3000mhz which is what it should be running at. Timings could be tighter but happy enough for now.

Contemplating a AIO or better air cooler, wasn't happy with the installation of the stock as it was a pita getting all 4 screws to bite and the heatsink slid a bit, never lifted it off though as I don't have any thermal paste to hand.
Wouldn't mind something quieter down the line though.

Profile would definitely help. It's obvious (but fine to ask) but more airflow is going to help exchange warmer air in the case with cooler in the room. It's otherwise just slowly heating the stale air in the case.

Biggest difference in my cooling recently was a change to a homebrew case (built in a drawer) with 2x200mm fans on intake (8x120mm push/pull through rads for exhaust). Temps everywhere/anywhere never break 45c.

Just a "choices, choices" if I jump on ryzen or work what I have harder/better with some deeper tinkering and just go with gpu this year and wait for zen2.

Got my 1600 @3.7ghz with ryzen master,my games jerk around a bit, anything I need to change in the Bois, have a rog hero 6.

Couple more pesky F9 errors today.

Gone down to 3333 at 14-14-14-30-54-333-2T with bankswap and geardown disabled. 1.45v RAM and 1.175 SOC. Going to HCI it overnight and see what happens.

Which games and what are your full system specs ?

I have the same and everything is on auto except the fan profile on PWN with fan hitting 100% at 60c, memory speed 3066 and the CPU multiplier 36.75. All amended in BIOS.
