Hey,
I thought it might be a good idea to try and keep at least some of the mods available for Stalker under one roof. People can post their advice, experiences and videos showing how to apply, in particular, some of the less straight forward to install mods.
One I've played recently that was thankfully dead easy to install, is called 'Misery'. This has by far the steepest difficulty curve, and imo it makes Master difficulty look very easy. I would say that this mod is not advisable for newcomers to the series. Graphically, it's the best mod I've seen so far, but definitely needs some tweaking to balance things out a bit for me. I honestly dread to think how hard it was before patch 2.

Another I like is the SGM mod. I've read that version 2.1 carries less bugs, which is a pity since iirc 2.2 provides additional areas to explore (don't hold me to it but I think one of them might be the dead city). The link below offers a video tutorial I found which made it much easier. Btw, the dude that has provided this video has uploaded some excellent ones which I highly recommend watching.
