Performance seems to be hugely improved with 1.3.

Ive been moaning for months about the games performance, with only around 10 days sub left i was prepared to quit the game, if the performance is like this when live i will be happy:


Performance= Random FPS drops are gone on planets.

Game looks more vibrant / brighter

Loads time improved quite a bit

Fleets are much better with less stuttering FPS drops, this was with loads of ppl on the fleet.

AA is now working for AMD 6 Series cards.

Cant comment on WZs performance yet as nobody is using the GF or WZs on the PTS currently :)

Has Bioware at long last managed to optimize there dreaded modified Hero Engine ?

I havent played this since about march, is it worth coming back to. Have they put up the new super servers yet, and if they havent would it be easy to transfer to them when they appear.
If i was to start a new character what server should i join with the most people ideally a ENG RP-PVP server.

Also is it really worth me waiting till the 1.3, is there any crucial benefits on there for someone starting again at level 1?
 
You know, I stopped playing after the 2nd month and I've not had a single email since offering me a cheap sign up deal, 5 day free trial or even any game information :(

Very odd for an MMO. I get offers and emails at least 1-2 times a week for Eve & LOTRO and monthly email about WoW.
 
Ok so with 160 people on fleet it was a bit stuttery but still better then current, some of the LEgacy Perks are nice, and the augment cost to install for top level (Mk 6) is 25k - the kits will depend on market only one available on PTS @ 400k lol

Annoying I spent 300k on Recruit PvP Gear for my smuggler as mostly PvP'd on my Sage who was full Champ - and now you get a mission at 50 called "New Tech" which gives you an entire Recruit PvP Set Free including weapons, implants, relics, earpieces the lot!!!

They really should have made the launcher copy your installing files then update them for PTS access instead of this stupidity of having to download the whole 20gb game again >.>
