The Plot:-

Following his victory in the previous tournament, Jin Kazama has taken charge of the Mishima Zaibatsu and now possesses tyrannical ambitions. Using his resources within the organization to become a global superpower, he severs the Mishima Zaibatsu's national ties and openly declares war on several nations. This action plunges the world into a chaotic spiral, with war erupting around the globe and even amidst the space colonies orbiting the planet. His biological father, Kazuya Mishima, is aware of this and finds Jin's interference in his own plans for global domination to be a nuisance. Now in charge of G Corporation (which was put under his command following a violent fury against the company's heads), Kazuya is seen as the only force who could oppose Jin and places a bounty on Jin's head for anyone who can capture him. Jin's response is to announce The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 in order to battle Kazuya and crush G Corporation.

Okay For People Who maybe pre-ordering their is going to the 3 editions to Tekken 6:

We Have Tekken 6 Normal you just get the game average price for this ive seen for pre order has been £30, Then we Have Tekken 6 LE this includes a poster also 100 page art book and large hoodie top if you go for X360 version you get a white hoodie if its PS3 you receive a black Hoodie this edition is average price for pre order £65. Now we have the best edition for all you rich people its the LE contents + a special designed Tekken 6 Horri Fight-stick this bundle is about £150 to pre order.

As one pic shows we have quite a large roster this year, Sorry for lack of included vids i wasn't sure how to put them in and well its my first official thread sorry if you find it "crap".

Think this will be for me a PS3 purchase for the LE version.
 
Day 1 for me. Am no beatemup pro but there is something very enjoyable about the Tekken games.
Hope there loads of unlocks like customs and extras :)
 
wicked, tekken on 360, been a long time for me since tekken TT, cant believe how many characters there are now, and with multiple 10 hit combos each, how the hell will i memorize all them!
 
is this gonna be online? If so any mention as to what the connection is going to be like?

Have tekken games on the PS3 given a hint to this in the past?
 
I'll be getting this for PS3 because I hate using fighting sticks and the 360's directional pad might as well be made of fudge. Needless to say I cannot wait for this game to hit the shelves. :D

Just a quick edit: I hope that the online is better than that laggy shambles that goes by the name of Virtua Fighter 5.
 
Never been into any Tekken game but with £29 free credit currently in one of my online store accounts, I guess this will be my most likely purchase. I will be using a SF4 TE fightstick and I hope I like this game and really get into it but I can't see myself enjoying it more then SF4, but I will give it a chance.

It's always 2D>3D for beat em ups imo.
 
Not getting it, looks like ass and Tekken has sucked since 3 anyway.

I just can't stand fighting games that are all about juggling.
 
Unfortunately I'll be getting this, but only because the local gaming group will all switch from SFIV to Tekken :(
 
Ahhhhhhhh Tekken, my old friend. How good to see you again. Shame its ANOTHER bloody October release, won't be a day one for me as I'll already be occupied with around 15 of the other huge October games. :/

But we will meet again!
 
Dark Resurrection worked really well online, far better than street fighter, so i can't wait for this. I just prefer the gameplay style of tekken, none of this stupid hit priority stuff.
 
Can't wait for this game I've always loved Tekken.
For me the online on sf4 was much better then tekken dr, heres hoping that the online play will be improved for T6.
 
I might get this to play with my brother, he got SF4 too but it requires too much effort for me to be bothered with it :p.
 
I will buy if the online game is sound. So will wait for reviews and feedback on this forum before I commit.

its a complete lagfest. i have never , ever had a nice clean, fluid feeling game of Tekken on my ps3 online. i tried at the start, and every few months. its like you are situated in a vat of treacle, and bound inside a fat suit. it feels horrible, laggy, bad. bad. bad!

dont know what sf is like online but tekken was really terrible.

it needs a major code re-write.

I didnt experience what you did :p I found it pretty good! Virgin media connection round my friends, Only the odd lagging game out of the many we had.

Also really looking forward to this.

Me + Bryan = PWNAGE :D
 
Glad to see people will be playing it :P well we may have to start a tournameant thou if we did i predict id lose as much as i like tekken series i always suck at it lol
