*** Official Test Drive Unlimited 2 Thread ***

Not sure if anyone still plays this but...

I've just reinstalled the game after wiping my PC, and I seem to have started a new game. Is my save lost? I got the impression that it was all saved online.
 
Bit of a bump but new update on the 18th - just got around to trying it - doesn't unfortunatly propel the game to its potential but:

Motorbikes are finally in for tho not to my tastes.

Driving model and engine/feedback sounds have been revamped and are generally improved tho not enough to change the character of the driving model.

Graphically improved in some regards but they've also messed with the LOD a bit road textures often rendering in lower than original resolution and taking awhile to update to the higher res version.

Wider range of wheels properly supported - I'm finally getting full force feedback on mine :D

Some new races, cosmetic items, etc. (think theres half a dozen or so new cars but none looked that exciting from a quick browse) but all the rest is same old meh.
 
Woot! I saw this announced a while back and have kept checking back over the past few months but I thought it was going to be another dead for 5 months DLC announcement :p

Didn't know it came out last week! Can't wait to give this ago now to see if FFB is actually usable on a wheel.
 
This game had a lot of potential. I lost a lot of hours to it, then got kind of lost as to which races I could do next. Good to go back for the odd cruise or two though.
 
Nooooooo :(. I presume Atari owns the IP though? Love a decent publisher to pick it up for next gen duties, I really would love a near MMO like driving game...
