official Transformers 3 Thread ere

Genuine question do you have a dependency on a class A drug:confused:

do u? how old are you?

10?

only 10 year olds comment like that based on someones opinion. a adult person would respect someone elses opinion.

heres a question for you. name me 5 "action" orientated movies that have a better action sequence then TF3 and reasons why its better

Can I also just add, its a childrens film about house sized robots kicking each other in the face, why are people judging like an adult orientated film?

My son will think it is the best movie to of ever graced the cinema when he goes to see it, and he is 12.
I will sit through it and probably be a bit bored, but Its not aimed at me.

The franchise is aimed at us adults who use to watch the cartoons back in the day.

its not harry potter which is aimed at the younger generation from the get go.

this is why many adults like us wanted to see this movie and its previous ones

Try and convince yourself about that as much as you like, its a childrens film.

Theres no harm in watching a childrens film, there are some very good ones, this probably isnt a great film, but its robots, its flashy and there are lots of flashing lights and things blowing up.
I dont see the reason for the hate, it is what it is.

This is a children's film with a plethora of the word **** (poo). I don't get who it's aimed at. Kids or adults? It should be one or the other.

Name 5? I could name 100. Are you saying TF3 is the best action movie ever?

film was saved by the free transformer pen that i was given on the way in :D

other than that the film was ok, i was enjoying the flying and fight scenes in 3D however it was a very long drawn out film

Of course it's a kids film. My 5 year old knows and loves the characters as they are now from Transformers: Prime the animated series. He's never even heard of the old series. There's nothing wrong watching it as an adult, I love this sort of film. Hopefully I'll always have a part of me that's young enough to enjoy them for what they are and not be too critical. Although some of the plot holes and character development/dialogue did have me squirming a bit I'll admit.

Saw this last night. No it's not going to win any Oscars for it's acting, but then it never promoted itself as that sort of film. It's had some mediocre reviews to say the least, but ultimately it is a great 'popcorn movie' where you can sit back, switch your brain off and enjoy the visual spectacle. Regardless of the cheesy moments, the increasingly hammy acting from Patrick Dempsey and the sometime awkward line delivery of the obligatroy Transformers tottie (sorry but I didn't think Rosie Huntingdon-Whitely was quite as awful as the critics would make her out!) I really enjoyed it, as did my gf.

FML Michael Bay.

If Sentinel Prime made a deal with Megatron when they left Cybertron, and that was always the plan, then... well..
WHAT WAS THE POINT IN THE FIRST TWO FILMS?.

That is all.

HAHAHAHA this to be honest.

First film - Megatron trapped in ice for thousands of years. All of our modern technology was reverse engineered from him.

Second film - Megatron and The Fallen want to harvest our Sun's energy and in essence destroy all life on Earth. The Fallen also being much older, was defeated in the past and somehow ended up on one of Saturn's moons?

Third film - Megatron and Sentinel Prime made a deal and their plan "all along" was to turn Earth's human population into slaves? Hmmmm okay. Megatron has been on Earth for thousands of years as the first film shows. Sentinel Prime crashes onto our Moon in the 1960's which causes the Space Race/Apollo Missions. That's a long ****ing time to put a plan into motion and pretty much disregarding what happens in the second film too!

Gotta love the continuity!

But hey, who gives a crap about plot when we men-children wants to see these films for the cool CGI robots, big explosions and Micheal Bay's hard-on for the U.S military. :D

EDIT - Well I found this on IMDb, So do you need slaves or do you want to incinerate the planet?. Quite an interesting chronological breakdown of things which so far seems quite accurate. When you have a backstory timeline that's thousands of years, it's bound to get a bit messed up in a few ways.

To be honest, producers have probably re-used footage from an old film from time to time, to do to it for such a scene is seriously cheap.

I think the Transformer films are terrible and I can't ****ing stand Shia LaBeouf, like really can't stand him. I want to punch him every single time I see his face. How anyone takes him seriously is a mystery to me.

To be honest i think Michael Bay's time is over, he was a decent director for the 90's and early 2000's but cinema goers tastes have changed now. We're all fed up with the stupid kinetic camera work ( i was never a fan of it myself) but he still uses the same techniques he did 15 years ago. He's stuck in the past with a method that was a brief fad anyway!
