official Transformers 3 Thread ere

To be honest I think out of the three the acting was the worst in this one. In terms of CGI and special effects, it's the best one out of the three.

*Spoiler Alert*

The final fight scene was good up until the last scene on the bridge, I thought the way megatron stepped in to kill sentinel prime was pretty lame, and then died himself quite easily by optimus.

I think the endings an example of Bays contempt for his audience. Why not throw in a quick ending with gangland killing motifs, just for the kids.

Saw this yesterday, enjoyable action romp, Nimoy playing evil, great stuff especially the Star Trek nod :D

I saw that this morning.

Excited to know they are hoping to make a 4th and possibly a 5th.

Not sure at all about Jason Statham though.

"Shia LaBeouf definitely won't be returning to stand alongside Optimus Prime again "

Thank god for that!

Am I the only one who thought this movie sucked? and here's why

A massive drill - How about Unicron instead
Q and Dino - I think you mean Wheeljack and Mirage
Optimus flying - but no mention of Jetfire's upgrades from ROTF
The countless number of unidentified Decepticons - come on there's plenty of them to choose from, couldn't they at least have called them terracons?
Soundwave that sounds like The Claw - really? I mean was it too much to ask to have a computer recreate the original voice?
Shockwave - A transformer, that doesn't transform in the whole film and turns up at the start, then disappears right till the end was he off fixing Devastator or something?

And finally? why does Michael Bay feel the need to stop the film just to reiterate how much of a **** Shia LaBeouf is and that he'd put Bumblebee (Don't get me started on Bumblebee) on eBay just so he can buy a house for his girlfriend.

You know, the BEST scene from the entire Trilogy is the very start of the 1st movie. When Blackout destroys that base it was simply amazing.
From then on, it just fell apart.

I've been a big fan of Transformers throughout the years, from the original TV series to the comics.

At first, i loved the 1st film because it was Transformers, then I seen the 2nd and I simply couldn't stand it. The CGI took a backwards step...it was probably better but maybe there was just so much more of it that it looked worse.
I then began to try and look at them as pure action flicks with giant Robots, ignoring that it was Transformers at all. In that light, they can pass as half decent films.
The 3rd was certainly an improvement on the 2nd in all aspects except the acting. I've seen some really bad acting in some B-Movies but that women who played Sams new love interest was about the worst i've ever seen in my life. I really struggled to watch her acting...

It again just shows how little Bay cares about the audience if he'll take one of the biggest budget films ever and throw in a lead actress who would be thrown out of a 1st school drama class for being so bad.

He gets away with it more in stand alone movies but for an already existing franchise with wuch a large fanbase, you really have to have more thought about the people paying to view your movie.

If you removed about 45 minutes from each of the 3 films then I think it'd make a pretty decent trilogy of sci-fi action films. As it stands, I find them very hard to stomach.

Oh and i seen it in 3D, despite all my rants against 3D movies (my partner really wanted to). And 3D detracted, not added to the film just as i expected. What an awful feature.
Everytime i think of the movies I go home and watch an episode of the cartoon to restore my faith!

Not another one :o

For some reason I bought the last one on Blu Ray, never found the motivation to ever watch it though. Proof that you need more than a good looking leading lady and mega fancy special effects to create a watchable popcorn flick.

As predicted on another thread the money offered is too much to turn down
With more time now to write a better script Here's hoping it will be better

I'll only get exacted if they announce that Unicron is in it, and done with justice. Other i won't see it in the cinemas and just wait for the Blu-ray
