**Official Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Thread**

Is it wrong I'm considering spending £7 more and probably receiving the game 2 days later just because I'm in love with steelbooks?
 
I wouldnt rely on anything that uses the royal mail at present, my NGS2 was sent last Thurs and arrived today, a week late! Anyway gonna pop into town friday and pick it up got £90+ credit thats burning a whole. Heard that the co-op level in the game is only part of the level in the full version, at least ill be good at that bit lol
 
my Uncharted 1 Platinum edition has just arrived :D!

can't wait to play it.. decided I want to complete it before playing the 2nd one.

Its a superb game, I found it a bit like a film as well
Story was great

Its dung though Im nightshift all weekend :( no day long uncharted 2 binges until monday
 
Don't know whether to get this pre-ordered through the rainforest or to just get it in-store Friday....

Always worried about a pre-order not turning up on time and really want something to play this weekend - cause I doubt I'll still be playing OFP :)
 
Yeah was tempted to cancel my pre-order as the post at the minute is a bit iffy and I could just pick it up on my way home friday.

Same position myself, not ordered anything online in last few week so not sure how badly the strike is affecting my area, but smallios74 had a game take 1 week to deliver recently and that is form somewhere that normally delivers next :(

Called someplace that gave 3 quid if the delivery is late, and they are saying that they won;t honour that during royal mail delays and they also may be e-mailing customers in the next day or so to see if they wanna pay a small amount to get pre-orders sent via a different method.

Decisions....

This week is actually pretty good in terms of the post in London, the store of which you speak is not in an area affected at all, so the sending shouldn't be a problem. Deliveries are only held up on Weds, but I don't think that'll get in the way of it arriving on time or possibly even early. Recorded deliveries are getting priority over normal 1st class, although special delivery is obviously getting the most attention. My Katamari was sent in a week with the exact same strikes and from being sent on Weds, it arrived on the Friday.
If they do give the option for Special delivery though, I'll deffo take it.
 
Just got off the phone to them, they wouldn't confirm what date they'd be sending them out, but they confirmed that they'll be sending an email today/tomorrow offering an alternative delivery method for "about £2".
 
I will certainly pay a few extra quid , cause i preordered when it had the lower price ;)

Ive just traded in my ps3 for a slim 250gb and got shift and infamous , but im really looking foward to uncharted 2 more :D

now got to finish kz2 again gutted :(
 
I do think the locked save games thing is really badly handled, it can't be that much harder to lock them to the online account instead of the system itself.

I ordered Scribblenauts on the 1st of October due for release on 9th Oct. I still ain't got it. Might of just been a one off.

Uncharted 1 isn't locked. I transferred it from my PS3 phat to Slim and I have played the game since from the saves and it is fine.

Edi: misread your post, I assume you mean KZ2, which is protected, which is why I sold mine.

Like ive said im picking up instore, unless i find a site that doesnt use the royal mail. The normal place i order since stopping its £3 if you dont get it on release date is not worth it, l got my NGS2 a week after release, 9 days after it was sent, not good enough at all. Does help i abused a shops trade in policy and have £130 credit from that store, Oh i also think the Beta has now closed :(
